The Heavens have opened up........

It has been raining here since Thursday night & to be quite honest with you all, I am well & truly over it! When I say raining I actually mean FLOGGING down non stop which is not the best when we are also having King Tides, the last time it poured like this was back in 1996 (also had King Tides) & Coffs flooded!

Dylans party was called off on Saturday so had quite a upset little boy although he still had a good day. We have put it off until next Saturday so am kinda hoping the rain will be gone by then, keeping my fingers crossed anyway. Just to top everything off our swimming pool is about to over flow so can see Hubby is going to have to back wash it, won't that be fun in the flogging down rain. Better away I have a house that needs cleaning & it will not do itself I am afraid.
Have a great day.

I still love the sound of soothing rain... Or a downpour if you must. It just puts me in my "jammies & wool socks" mood. COurse I wear those anytime I feel the need but extra nice with the rain or a lovely snow fall.

I guess when we said that we needed it to rain, we meant only a little bit at a time, not all at once!
I hope Dylan had a great Birthday in spite of not having his party on Saturday. I am sending prayers upstairs in hope that the rain will ease up before then.

Hi Lyn..yes its torrential here in Kempsey too.... minor flooding... but I must admit... it gives me a cosy feeling being snuggled in away from it. Would not like the job with your pool though.. what a pain.... hope Dylan has a great party. Marilyn

Doesn't it break your heart when you have to postpone. I hope Dylan's party is extra special. He's a gorgeous little boy (previous post)! A-M xx

Dear Lynn...

What are KING TIDES? What is FLOGGING? I'm Aussie-Lingo challenged here! :(

Figure it is SOMETHING to do with big waves and flooding...am I right?

Someday, when I have money (being positive here!) I want to come to your country for a visit. How I long to see it with my own eyes...

Blessings to you as the rains fall. Love, Reb
