Gorgeous prints from a by gone era.......
I simply love the beautiful paintings by Maude Humphrey (Mother of Humphrey Bogart) Her series of children doing the washing (hanging their dolls out by the head on an old fashioned clothes line) playing nurses (above) doctors (sewing their dollies up) chefs (cooking their kittens) artists (painting a picture) & probably my favourite The old woman who lived in a shoe, picture at right, the little girl disciplining her dollies!

Lovely indeed. I always thought her painting were akin to Beatrix Potter's muted tones and lines. I love Potter's paintings very much and these have my eye as well. Right down to the fine detail. Very sweet indeed.
Why don't you print some more out yourself? You can buy the silk online or at a good craft shop and then you could print out loads.....! for the cost of buying them you could make many for yourself at home.
Lyn they have such sweet faces

Dear Lyn...Your last post on my site was so heartfelt. My doggie Mollie the Molinator has a twin in New Zealand. If I could I bring her over to play with your Momma's pooch. She is such a JOY to me...always peaceful and full of energy...
Hope this finds you well. Love MH, too! Talented lady from a simpler day.
Hugs to you...Reb
